Pathcare Group Repair Fence at Llanbadoc Island

Members of the voluntary Llanbadoc Pathcare Group have carried out much needed repairs to sections of the fence at Llanbadoc Island.

The fence makes up part of the entrance to the carpark.

It was expected that the repairs to the fence may run into the hundreds of pounds but thanks to the local voluntary group, made up of retired men in the community the repairs were carried out at the cost of materials only.

The Llanbadoc Pathcare group regularly clear overgrowth on local footpaths, repair stiles and gates and more recently have constructed small bridges and walkways through streams and above-ground drains to improve access to local footpaths.
