A Future for the GWR Weighbridge building
You may have passed by this building in Woodside, Llanbadoc without giving it a second thought, or perhaps wondered why it was there. It was a GWR Weighbridge building, possibly from around 1853. Sadly since these photographs were taken the building was hit by a continental truck and badly damaged.
However there is hope for this petite historical building as The Gloucester and Warwickshire Steam Railway are hoping to save it's future and plan to rebuild it at Winchcombe near the old Monmouth Troy rebuilt station on the Gloucester and Warwickshire Steam Railway.
