Message from Monmouthshire County Council ...

We have now produced a Draft ROWIP 2019-29 for public consultation and we would like your views to ensure that it meets the needs and expectations of Monmouthshire’s residents.  Your views or comments can be submitted by e-mail to countryside@monmouthsire.gov.uk or to the postal address below.

The vision of the Rights of Way Improvement Plan is to provide high quality, well maintained Public Rights of Way network & Countryside Sites, that will support the Monmouthshire economy, encourage active lifestyles and sustainable travel choices, and contribute to making Monmouthshire a great place to live, work and visit.  The Draft strategy is available to download below along with a copy of our Equality & Future Generations Evaluation.  Appendix 5 The Countryside Access Policy, Protocols and Operational Management Report states how we will deliver management of the service and the other ROWIP assessment reports which provided the evidence for the Draft ROWIP are also found below.

Your responses will be compiled into a consultation report, which will help produce the final version of the Rights of Way Improvement Plan.

Please note this consultation closes at midnight on 26th November 2019.
